Sake Brewery in Fujinomiya City

Hello, Welcome to our blog.

We are a travel agency in Shizuoka City

Today I would like to introduce a Japanese Sake brewery
in Fujinomiya City (near Mt.Fuji)

(founded in 1831)

This brewery is very close to Fujisan Hongu Sengen Shrine.
So if you have a plan to visit the shrine, it is a good choice
to visit this brewery, too.

In the store:
It is a very beautiful and relaxing space.

Pronounced "Takasago"

They accepts brewery visits.
(reservation by phone or fax will be needed.)

inside the brewery:
 Explanation of sake brewing.

The sake and liquors are made between  November and April.

After pasteurization, they are stored in a tank.

These sake and liquors will be sold and shipped between
September and October.

Mt.Fuji's ground water
Their well water takes about 100 years to travel underground
from the top of Mount Fuji.

Very clear water!
You need this clean water to make delicious sake.

The veteran sake brew master!

I particularly recommend a visit of this place to sake aficionados!

Thank you!
